Bernhard Klapprott, organ
Bernhard Klapprott graduated from his studies in Cologne with degrees in harpsichord and organ performance as well as church music, and in Amsterdam with an advanced degree in harpsichord performance with distinction. In 1991, he was awarded 1st Prize at the 10th International Organ Competition (Bach/Mozart) at the Festival van Vlaanderen in Bruges.
He concertizes internationally as a keyboard soloist, continuo player and conductor. His discography includes the complete keyboard music of Thomas Tomkins (harpsichord, virginal, organ), sonatas of Georg Anton Benda (clavichord), organ music of Johann Sebastian Bach (part of the complete recordings on organs built by Andreas and Johann Andreas Silbermann), vocal and instrumental music.
Since 1994, Bernhard Klapprott has been Professor of Harpsichord/Early Keyboard Instruments in the Department of Early Music at the University of Music FRANZ LISZT in Weimar, Germany.
Repertoire for this program will include music by J. S. Bach, C.P.E. Bach, Buxtehude, Pachelbel, and Kellner, appropriate for this Baroque-style, middle-German tracker organ built by Richards, Fowkes, & Co.

Edith Widayani, piano
Hailed as one of the most promising young pianists in her home country of Indonesia, Edith Widayani has performed throughout United States, Europe and Asia in solo, chamber music and on radio. Edith has recently won 1st prize and Best Instrumentalist Award at the Concurso de Música Cámara Ecoparque Trasmiera in Arnuero, Spain, as a part of Eastman Duo in April 2017, and 1st prize winner in the 2014 Kosciuszko Foundation Chopin Piano Competition in New York City.
As a collaborative artist in Eastman School of Music, Edith was given Award of Excellence in Accompanying two years in a row. She holds a Bachelor of Music from Texas Christian University School of Music, a Master of Music graduate from the Eastman School of Music in Performance and Literature, and is currently pursuing her Doctorate of Musical Art degree in Performance and Literature with double minor in Chamber Music and Music Theory under the guidance of Prof. Barry Snyder.
Ms. Widayani will play compositions by Debussy, Poulenc, Chopin, and Ananda Sukarlan, an Indonesian composer.

Eclectic Arts Trio: Aaron Lakota, oboe

Clifton J. Noble, Jr., piano
Featuring the diverse sounds of oboe, horn and piano, the Eclectic Arts Trio, all from the Pioneer Valley, will perform varied music across the centuries and genres. Interspersed with classical fare, from Mozart to Milhaud, will be a few of Jerry Noble’s charming instrumental arrangements from the American Songbook. The centerpiece of the concert will be Heinrich von Herzogenberg’s Trio for Oboe, Horn and Piano.

Monica Czausz, organ
Monica Czausz, a MA native, is currently at The Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia, PA, where she is pursuing an Artist Diploma in Organ Performance. She graduated Summa Cum Laude in May 2017 from Rice University’s Shepherd School of Music in Houston, Texas, where she completed a five-year combined Bachelor of Music and Master of Music degree program in Organ Performance with professor Ken Cowan. In 2016, she was recognized as one of the top 20 organists under 30 by The Diapason magazine.
Her program will span four centuries to fully display the colorful and dynamic possibilities of this organ with music by Schildt, Bach, Weaver, and others.
