Welcome to The First Church of Deerfield

Ours is a spacious faith, with room enough for questions and diversity of belief. We are a congregation of people from assorted religious backgrounds, joined not by a formal creed but by our shared purpose, to love God and neighbor. Our theology is moderate to liberal, based solidly in the traditions of our two denominations, the United Church of Christ and the Unitarian Universalist Association. As our church covenant states, “we cordially invite to our fellowship any who, while differing from us in belief, are willing to unite with us for worship and service . . . .”
